The Columbus Arts Ball is a fundraising, masquerade ball that raises money for a notable cause each year in Columbus, OH. The event brings a local cause, 80′s and 90′s music, unique artwork, black and white attire with masks, and other entertainment together into a one night event. Visitors have come to the Ball from the community of Columbus, The Ohio State University and the surrounding cities and counties. They come to explore creativity, enjoy music and have a good time. Check out the Charities section to see who we have donated to in the past and we are donating to this year.
The event has been developed to take proceeds from ticket sales, sponsorships, and silent auctions and donate it to a worthy cause. The Columbus Arts Ball causes change from year to year, but our primary area of interest is Cancer research and health. Throughout the event attendees can find art work from artists representing the local area, live bands and DJs and other entertainment like fashion shows, mask competitions and dance performances.
WHAT TO WEAR?
The Columbus Arts Ball is a black and white clothing event. We encourage everyone to come in black and white dress clothes and colorful masks! We are NOT a black tie event, but we do ask for attendees to not come in t-shirts or shorts. We encourage all to come in a mask!

Columbus Arts Ball – Three Primary Goals:
Educate: Educating and creating awareness about a local cause that is underfunded and is currently not spotlighted well in the community. Our focus on the cause(s) each year is:
- Having a primary area of interest in cancer research, health or children
- Being local to the Central Ohio Region
- Will be supportive and interactive with the Columbus Arts Ball Event and Brand
Promote/Highlight: Promote and Highlight local artist in the community of Central Ohio. This would include artist through our artwork as well as entertainers on stage.
Entertain: Entertain and bring new unique things to Columbus like the 2012’s puzzle piece artwork into a one night event.
